I like ramen, especially Japanese ramen. Everytime I go to Japanese restaurant, I would try their ramen. So far (until today) all Japanese ramen I tried are pretty good or average. However, today I finally have an opportunity to try the worst Japanese ramen.
I went to a Japanese restaurant chain (named it as SK la) today after work. I have not been to this restaurant ever since another Japanese restaurant (called it as SS la) opened in QB. The last time I been to SK was probably 2 years ago. So happen that today SS closed for their annual dinner, I went to SK to have my dinner. I ordered a Chef recommended ramen called "Spicy XX ramen". The ramen is served with chicken meat ball and some veges and boiled egg. When the ramen was served, I tried the soup first. To my great disappointment, the ramen is tasteless. I don't know why it called "Spicy" while it is not spicy at all. Then I tried the ramen. It was over-cooked until it was too soft. Same goes to veges. The so called chicken meat ball was over deep fried. I was forcing myself to eat it and I could hardly finish one third of it. At the end, I stopped torturing my stomach and ordered some sushi.
I am quite surprise that the food quality of that restaurant drop so drastically. At least the last time I went was not so bad. I know nowadays many food chain restaurant are cutting down their cost to endure the economy downtime. But one thing they should not cut is the quality of food. How do they expect customers to return after having the bad experience? For me, that would be the last time I would go to SK.

My baby is hospitalised
My baby is hospitalised. I dropped it when I was getting out of a taxi in Beijing. I thought I had the strap around my neck. But it didn't and it dropped from my lap without any casing protecting it. My heart skipped. I thought my 50mm lens was gone but luckily it didn't. The outer of camera looked ok. There was no sign of serious damages but it started to come out with "vibration" sound when I turned on the camera. Nevertheless, it still can function as normal. So I thought it was ok. Until yesterday I went for a photography workshop. I found out that the clip at the battery compartment was broken and it could not hold the battery anymore. So I need to send to the shop for repair. Thanks God that it is still under warranty. But it needs to take two weeks or more to get it repaired. I will be hand off the camera for two weeksssss...and I have a fren's wedding on this Wed. :(

I'm back
It has been a while since my last post. I was sort of abandoning this blog until a friend of mine reminded me to "activate" it. Well, I am doing it now.
For the past one month, I finished up my last MBA paper (thank God!!) while starting a new job. I don't know how did I get it through. Now I am getting tied up with the new job. It is totally new to me and I have lots more to pick up. Hope I won't get bored with this job soon. :)
I starts to de-froze my lovely slr and I am going for a day photography class. I have more events going on for next two month before end of 2009. More pics will be rolled up. Stay tune.

First belly dance class
My first belly dance. Horrible. Has anyone seen a "kayu balak" trying to belly dance before? My arms, legs and body are not coordinated at all. The whole session I was like a squid whose tentacles "tersikat". I doubt I will go for the second session. I am accepting the fact that I cannot dance.

Hi, I am here now.
It took me a while to write something for this newly established blog. Probably because I have been "idling" and I don't have much things to share in the blog. Nevertheless, I will be going to Vietnam for vacation soon. I will post something up when I am back. Stay tune!
